Get to Know Our Tampa, FL Veterinary Team
Dr. Rodriguez, DVM
Dr. Rodriguez was born in Madrid, Spain, and raised on the west coast of Puerto Rico. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Florida. He then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he met Dr. Woodside in 1997 and graduated in 2000. He completed his clinical year at Purdue University along with Dr. Woodside. He then attended an additional clinical year at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dr. Rodriguez was chief of staff for Banfield Pet Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, for ten years, where he was named one of the nation’s top 10 Banfield doctors in 2007. Dr. Rodriguez specializes in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He is also proud to be fluent in Spanish.
Crystal
Practice Manager
Crystal started her career in the veterinary field right out of high school. She knew at a very young age she wanted to work with animals. Crystal takes pride in being an animal advocate and providing the best possible care to all her patients.
She has spent time working in a variety of different roles in the veterinary field making her way up to practice manager.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Crvstal is married with 3 children and has a “mini” farm that consists of 5 dogs and 3 cats. Outside of spending time with her family Crystal loves photography and going to the beach.
The beach is her happy place!

Chase
Customer Service Representative
Chase has been in the veterinary field since 2022. She grew up in Tampa, FL and she has loved animals her entire life. A little fun fact about Chase: she is obsessed with dinosaurs.
Erika
Customer Service Representative
Erika has been in the veterinary field since 2020. She has a passion for helping animals and their families. Erika was a military brat, so she called many places her home. She has been in Florida since 2018 and loves being in the sunshine state. Erika is a fur momma to her two dogs, Harrison and Daisy, and 2 cats, Sage and Tito. When Erika is not working, you can find her paddleboarding, hanging with her fur children, or at Universal.
