Dr. Jose Rodriguez
Veterinarian
Dr. Rodriguez was born in Madrid, Spain, and raised on the west coast of Puerto Rico. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Florida. He then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, where he met Dr. Woodside in 1997 and graduated in 2000. He completed his clinical year at Purdue University along with Dr. Woodside. He then attended an additional clinical year at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dr. Rodriguez was chief of staff for Banfield Pet Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, for ten years, where he was named one of the nation’s top 10 Banfield doctors in 2007. Dr. Rodriguez specializes in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. He is also proud to be fluent in Spanish.

Jessica
Lead Veterinary Technician
Jessica graduated in 2015 as a certified veterinary technician from St. Petersburg College. She has been in the field ever since and for the last 8 years as a lead technician.
She currently has 2 dogs, a Great Dane named Rain and a Boston Terrier named Miss Potts, 2 cats, Nugget and Stormy, and 2 hedgehogs, Tater and Tot. When not working she can be seen sailing away on her next cruise with her husband Spencer and daughter Annalyse!
Jennifer
Veterinary Technician
Jennifer has been in the veterinary field for 3 years. She graduated from college as a veterinary assistant in 2020. She enjoys veterinary medicine just as much as having a bond with her patients and clients.
In her free time, you can find Jennifer tailgating at a Bucs game and spending time with her new golden retriever puppy Atticus.
Hannah
Veterinary Technician
Hannah has wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was young. She graduated high school as a veterinary assistant and has now re-joined the field after taking a break to study animal biology at USF. In her free time, you can find Hannah reading, playing video games, or at the horse farm she loves and volunteers at. She has one fur baby currently, her guinea pig George.
Katy
Veterinary Assistant
Katy is a Veterinary Assistant. She has a degree in Marine Biology from Eckerd College. She spent over 15 years as a zookeeper before transitioning to veterinary medicine. She has been in this field for 7 years. Katy is working towards becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. When not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her dog or relaxing at the beach.

Chase is a Tampa native who has always had a passion for animals and has been in veterinary medicine for two years. She volunteered at our local Humane Society while in school and she has been the “Elly Mae” of her family her entire life, trying to save any stray she comes across. Chase also loves all things dinosaur; Even her dog, Winnie, has a dinosaur pajama
Britney
Customer Service Representative
Now a Tampa native, Britney was born in the Philippines. Britney enjoys developing, managing and writing music. She currently has a Shetland Sheepdog named Patrick, a Chihuahua mix named Murdock, a rat named Stuart, and a pet turtle named Blinkon.
