Alex J. Weber, DVM


Dr. Weber was born in Medina, New York and his family moved to Spring Hill, Florida when he was ten years old. His love of animals has been present since a child. He attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate school and veterinary school. He has been working as a veterinarian for Beach Park Animal Clinic since his graduation in 2000. His practice philosophy is focused on personalized patient care and building solid, long term relationships with his clients.

Dr. Deptula was born overseas in Yokohama, Japan in the U.S. military community. She grew up in Japan surrounded by cats, dogs, birds, pocket pets and horses. Upon high school graduation, she relocated to Columbia, Missouri for college to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Deptula graduated in 1976 with a B.S. in Agriculture / Animal Husbandry and in 1980 a DVM degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She promptly moved to the Tampa Bay region in Florida for the warm weather and beautiful beaches. Dr. Deptula has pursued her love and passion for animals since in a variety of positions in the veterinary profession including small animal / equine private practice, corporate sector practice, small animal emergency work, and shelter medicine / surgery in the humane society / animal control fields. She particularly enjoys practicing preventative and geriatric internal medicine.

W.J. Ray Jr., DVM


Dr. Ray is a native of Tampa, Florida and has lived in the state his entire life. A graduate of Auburn University (class of 58) he has devoted his lifetime to the care of animals. He is the original founder of Beach Park Animal Clinic and continues to work at the practice and has also recently published his first novel.

Veterinary Technician

Michelle was born, raised and educated on the central coast of California and in Brazil. Her love of animals started from an early age, when her first bipedal friends were chickens. She began working as a veterinary technician in 1990 and has never regretted her career choice. Michelle is a mom to one son, 3 cats, a dog and a mustache parakeet.

Born and raised in north Florida. Always loved animals and grew up with many pets. Attended Polk State College and recently moved to Tampa to continue school. Loves traveling and spending time with her dog and cat.

Beth Warren

Office Manager

Beth graduated from USF in 1969 and began working as a social worker for the state of Florida. After 4 years there and 2 more as a technical writer, she came to work at Beach Park Animal Clinic in 1975 as our receptionist. She is now our clinic manager and considers Beach Park Animal Clinic her home away from home.


Sarah Cannon


Sarah has worked in veterinary hospitals since 2008. Her love of animals began when she was part of 4-H and FFA. She enjoys cooking, crafts, and spending time with her daughter, husband and 3 cats.

Lynne is proud parent of 3 cats, 2 dogs and a cockatoo. And they are all rescues! She has been a part time pet sitter since 1979, had veterinary technician training, and worked as a zookeeper at the Dallas zoo before joining the Beach Park Animal Clinic family.
